A new sneaker and street culture museum is coming to Houston, TX.
Obsessive Sneaker Disorder, Company of Nomads, and yours truly, CROSSxOVER, are bringing a sneaker museum to H-Town.
Starting off as a pop-up and touring across 6-8 cities, The Grail'd is slated to have a permanent home in Houston, TX tentatively scheduled for Q4 2024. The initial exhibition will feature a Top 50 "Hall of Fame," highlighting the 50 most important sneakers ever created.
Nestled in the museum district of the city, The Grail'd will be a mobile and completely self-sustainable facility made out of shipping containers that will also feature a dessert bar, gift shop and interactive stations. The unique architectural museum will hold public and private events as well as a podcast studio in the future.
The Grail'd will soon be opening up a small window for the sneaker and street culture community a chance to donate and become part of the museum's story by incorporating a sneaker path adorned with donor's names.
